Lack of materials, machine breakdowns, quality problems and order changes in regard to quantity or product are normal facts of life and they must be managed with an overall view of the situation.
The Enka Scheduler allows the person in charge to manage the situation, by trying to generate solutions that are tested in a virtual way to assess alternative scenarios, as well as to reorganise and reposition the production sequences. Only after assessing the various hypotheses will one choose the more balanced solution, turning it into the new work plan.
- Allocation of job orders on to the machines/lines
- Checking work plans received from ERP
- Display of operative or simulated Gantt
