On-board terminals

For the production monitoring and tracing systems it is necessary to connect the machines to the supervision system. Incas has designed and produced a series of terminals (DAT Series) which are specially adapted to working in industrial environments both in terms of protection from the typical disturbances of the factory environment, as well as for the efficiency and application flexibility. Each one can be connected to the system both via RS485 line, as well as by Ethernet network and with Wireless systems.

Incas S.p.A., to make the collection of data in the production department easier, has designed and produced these new and better performing DAT series models, products that allow the monitoring and management of the production progress both in bays as well as with direct interface with the machine with Input/output models. DAT series will be included amongst the most widespread methods of interface, such as Serial and Ethernet. The application in radio-frequency allows one to immediately save all the expenses arising from structured cabling with a flexibility in positioning and any repositioning of the terminals.

In addition, the integration with pre-existing wireless structures in accordance with the WiFi standards is guaranteed. The data is collected and centralised with the ENKA package and then made available for interface of a managerial, planning and production scheduling nature. The data collection structures can obviously be of a mixed type and the DAT Series can be integrated into pre-existing system cabling.

The integration between the on board terminals and the ENKA package in Web mode allows the remote control and collection of data in the case of external manufacturing, outside contractors etc. For anyone who needs a control panel to consult the productivity trend but who never implemented one owing to the costs of the system.
